Express Entry.
Express Entry is the federal system that manages three economic PR streams. A strong profile is only part of the story; how you present your work history, language and education can materially change your outcome.

Who this is for
Skilled applicants aiming for Canadian permanent residence through Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class or Federal Skilled Trades, and those considering category-based draws.
Decision factors
- Age at time of profile submission
- Language proficiency in English or French, tested with IELTS General, CELPIP General, TEF or TCF
- Education, including Canadian equivalency where the credential is foreign
- Skilled work experience, correctly matched to a National Occupational Classification code
- Provincial nomination and, where applicable, category-based selection alignment
Evidence commonly needed
- Passport and travel history
- Educational Credential Assessment reports for foreign credentials
- Language test results within validity
- Detailed reference letters with hours, duties and salary
- Proof of settlement funds where required
Process
- Eligibility and profile-planning consultation
- Documented preparation of the profile with correct NOC and language inputs
- Ongoing monitoring of draws and category-based rounds
- Full e-APR preparation once invited, including medicals, biometrics and police certificates
- Response to procedural fairness letters or additional document requests
Risks and honest limits
There is no guaranteed invitation. Draw cut-offs and category-based rounds change without notice. Overstating experience or misrepresenting an NOC creates serious risk and can lead to a finding of misrepresentation.
How an RCIC helps
We build a truthful, well-documented profile, choose the right stream, and align a provincial nomination strategy where it materially improves your chances. If your file is complex, we say so early.

A few things clients often ask.
How long is an Express Entry profile valid?
A profile is valid for twelve months from the date it is submitted. It can be updated during that period and can be resubmitted after it expires.
Do all provincial nominations add 600 points?
No. Only enhanced provincial nominations aligned with Express Entry add 600 CRS points. Base nominations follow a separate paper-based PR application and do not add points.
What are category-based rounds?
Category-based selection has operated since 2023 and continues in 2026. Current categories include French-language proficiency, healthcare and social services, STEM, trades, education, transport, physicians with Canadian work experience, senior managers with Canadian work experience, researchers with Canadian work experience, and skilled military recruits. Categories and draw cut-offs change and are not guarantees.
Choosing the right category and the strongest supporting evidence is often case-specific. Book a private consultation.
Can I include my spouse or common-law partner?
Yes. Accompanying family members are usually included on the same application. Spousal language and education can affect CRS.
