Who we are

This website is operated by Sunrise Resettlement Consulting Inc., a British Columbia company, under the public brand Immigrate Now. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Sunrise Resettlement Consulting Inc., and "you" refers to any person who accesses or uses the site.

Information, not advice

The content on this website is general information about Canadian immigration and citizenship matters. It is not advice for your specific situation and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice about your circumstances.

When a professional relationship begins

Reading this site, sending an enquiry, or uploading preliminary information does not, on its own, create a professional relationship with us. A limited consultation relationship or a broader consultant-client relationship begins only under the written consultation agreement or service agreement that defines its scope. Each agreement, including a paid consultation, sets out what we will do and what we will not do for you.

Regulated advice through RCICs

We provide Canadian immigration and citizenship advice and representation through Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants registered with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). Immigrate Now is not a law firm.

Changing information

Canadian immigration rules, criteria, fees and processing practices change regularly. Content on this site may not reflect the most recent policy or program status. You should obtain case-specific advice and verify current requirements with the Government of Canada.

No guaranteed outcome

Immigration decisions rest with government decision-makers. No consultant, lawyer or firm can guarantee an outcome. Anyone who promises a specific result should be approached with caution.

Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• Interfere with the security, integrity or performance of the site or any related systems.
• Attempt unauthorized access to any portal, account, form or server.
• Scrape, harvest or copy content in a way that is unlawful or contrary to these Terms.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
• Upload malicious code, or infringe the intellectual property or privacy of others.
• Misuse our forms, portals or contact channels, including by sending false, abusive or fraudulent submissions.

Intellectual property

The site and its content, including text, layout, graphics, logos and underlying code, are owned by or licensed to Sunrise Resettlement Consulting Inc. You may view and print reasonable extracts for your own personal, non-commercial reference. Any other use requires our prior written consent. The ImmigrateNow.ca design mark is a registered trademark of Sunrise Resettlement Consulting Inc., Canadian registration TMA1,272,057.

The site may link to third-party websites and services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Privacy and electronic communications

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, timeliness, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including under consumer protection legislation.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply in British Columbia. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia for any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the site.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may update these Terms from time to time and will provide reasonable notice of material changes on this page.
